Sim Works Updates the Doppo ATB All-Terrain

The Doppo ATB has been a popular frame for Sim Works since its original release in 2018. Over the years we’ve documented multiple ATB builds (like this, this, and this) highlighting the frame’s versatility. With the updated model that’s available today, Sim Works has made it even more capable by using a lighter tubing spec, changing from quick-release to 100×12 thru-axles, Paragon rear dropouts, and three-pack mounts on fork legs and underside of the downtube.  Continue reading for more details from Sim Works…

Presented by Sim Works, this all-terrain bike frame- an update of the original and badge defining model within the Doppo line, was created based on a concept of “walking alone.”

Let your rides unfold as chapters in your novel life adventure. Be it long and winding ribbons of tarmac and gravel, or your favorite singletrack or forgotten two-track. Offer yourself the tools you need to have the memorable experiences and discoveries awaiting you.

The Doppo All Terrain Bike (ATB), co-developed by SimWorks and Shin Fabrication, is the culmination of our efforts to provide a “Swiss-Army” solution for the free spirited all-road rider.

It’s a bike built for today’s wandering cyclist- with thoughtful and accommodating features throughout to blend timeless design with some of today’s industry standards. Based on a design tailored for going alone, as a modern tourer, it boasts stable operation while moderately loaded down. While offering ample tire clearance in both 700c and 650b platforms, it offers the rider confidence in a variety of situations, both on and off-road, and meets the needs of today’s most discerning 2-wheeled wanderers.

The included, purpose-built fork with full eyelets features stealth mounting bosses under the crown, allowing the fenders to be mounted more securely and the dimensions mirror those of the rear triangle- providing clearance for both wheel platforms.

As a modern tourer for all-terrain / all-road surfaces, it is a bike that will carry you to those places you’ve been longing to see, bring you back again, and keep you grinning along your way.
