Wolf Tooth and King Cage: the Morse Cage

I love seeing collaborations like this. Wolf Tooth components had an idea and could have probably sourced their own fabrication means themselves to make a cage like this, but instead, they reached out to King Cage, because that’s what King Cage does better than anyone. That idea is a cage with various mounting points, to make the best use out of your limited space. The result is something that adds practicality to a tried and true design. Hats off to all parties! Land Run 100 Rides: Rob’s Rodeo Labs Flaanimal 4.0

The Rodeo Labs Flaanimal 4.0 is what the people want in an all-road bike. The people who want provisions and braze-ons for racks, even on their carbon fork. Ample tire clearance, belt-drive compatibility, and sliders, with a geometry tuned for the long haul, without riding like a tourer. It’s easy to see why these bikes are so appealing to dirt road racing contingency, with all those aforementioned details, and it’s why Rob chose one to race at this year’s Land Run 100.

Last year, Rob finished Dirty Kanza as DFL, with literal seconds left on the clock and this year, he looked towards Land Run as prep for the DK. From Fort Worth, Texas, driving to Stillwater, Oklahoma for the event was the perfect weekend escape and a worthy shakedown ride for his Flaanimal 4.0.

I like his use of the Redshift stem, Sinewave Beacon, Wolf Tooth B-Rad double bottle cage system and the Panaracer Gravel King tires. Yep. That’s one capable rig, ready to roll Rob over the finish line, with plenty of time to spare.

Wolf Tooth’s B-Rad System

Not all frames have third bottle cages or means to carry extra water bottles. Wolf Tooth’s new B-Rad system allows the option for installing more bottle cages by using a series of Mounting Bases. You can even use a Double Bottle Adapter for your downtube bottle bosses and even a B-Rad Accessory Mount to carry a spare tube, a riding light battery or other accessories. Otso Cycles Rises from Wolf Tooth Components

If there is one company that has made our lives easier in terms of gearing options, it’s Wolf Tooth Components. Everything they’ve introduced to the market has been smart, innovative and has opened the door to new, affordable drivetrain systems. It should come as no surprise that the guys behind Wolf Tooth have a few opinions as to how bicycles should be designed, which was the motivation for launching Otso Cycles.
