With the recent announcement of the return of The Radavist to John and Cari, we debuted our Group Ride Subscription Plan. Readers of The Radavist can support our efforts, browse the largest collection of Beautiful Bicycles on the ‘net, and immerse themselves in our in-depth Reportage for $6.66 a month or $69.69 a year in a paywall-free environment.
Read on for the full breakdown.
We’re still ironing all this out, but we plan to offer Group Ride subscribers worldwide a bounty of benefits, including:
- Support the longest-running, independent, alternative cycling website!
- A chance to win monthly giveaways from your favorite companies.
- Rad Bazaar selling account: https://radbazaar.theradavist.com/
- Annual subscriber feedback polls–help shape the content you see here.
- … and more is on the way.
Every penny from the Group Ride subscription, our merch, and our ad sales goes back to paying our staff, contributors, and contractors. It will move the site towards becoming a more readership-supported platform where your feedback will help shape the content to come.
What is the RaD BaAZaR?
Signing up for the Group Ride gets you a selling account at our Rad Bazaaaaaaar! With your subscription, you can sell or trade any and everything related to The Radavist’s content with zero additional fees–we won’t take a cut. Our staff moderates this forum, and we encourage everyone to use their real name and upload an avatar.
If we post about it here on The Radavist, it has a home on the Rad Bazaar: bikes, components, accessories, apparel, camping stuff, and photography equipment. We believe in buying and selling used goods when possible, and this helps our community engage in sustainable trading and selling. Shop locally to save on shipping costs by filtering “by location.”
You do not have to be a Group Ride subscriber to purchase from the Rad Bazaar, only to sell. But you do need to sign up for an account. To access the Rad Bazaar, it’s linked under the “SHOP” link at the top menu.
If you have any issues with the Rad Bazaar or Group Ride signup, drop an email here.
November’s Group Ride Giveaway is with Paul Component Engineering and includes your choice of short or long-pull Klampers in any color and brake levers!
This has been quite the journey for The Radavist, but being back in the hands of John and Cari and our full-time staff is best for our brand. We greatly appreciate your support. xo
