Radar Roundup: New Revel Rover Colors, Sklar PBJ Pre-Order, Cycling the World Film Tour, Philly Bike Expo Inclusivity Scholarship, and From Surfer To Cyclist

Our Radar Roundup compiles products and videos from the ‘net in an easy-to-digest format. Read on below for today’s findings…

Revel Rover New Colors

John loved the Rover in his review. It wasn’t a stiff ass-hatchet. The fork was nice and flexy. But the bike was able to accelerate on a dime and was a hoot on singletrack too. While we don’t talk about a ton of carbon bikes over here, many are still great at doing the gravel thing. New for 2023, Revel just announced a blackest ever black Black Nugget and Aurora colors. Available in two AXS specs and a GRX spec, as well as framesets. Live now at Revel Bikes.

Sklar Performance Basket Jammer PBJ Pre-Order $2,000

The Sklar PBJ is Adam’s made in California (at the new Sklar HQ in Oakland) do it all 29er rigid MTB. It’s got touring bits and bops embedded in its DNA, favorable tire clearances, a geo tuned for off-road touring. Sweet colors and branding. Oh and a flat top tube for maximizing frame bag space. This is the bike that John tours on but his is made from Titanium.

There’s a lot going on with these beautifully simple frames, so roll on over and read about the PBJ at Sklar Bikes and if you’re feeling one, get in on his pre-order for the first batch of made in California Sklars!
