Chris’ Caletti Topo-Ti Revision 2

We previously featured Chris’ Caletti but he shot some updated photos of it in very eerie light cast due to the fires in California. We’re running this updated gallery with words by Chris himself below…

When Caletti designed this bike, he set out to create a machine that would feel good with or without a shock fork. John created geometry that accepts the 51mm offset found in both the Whisky No.9 MTN Boost LT and Fox 34 Float SC 29 Boost forks. We got both forks custom painted beige by Ollie at Dark Matter Finishing.

The bike really flows. We have a lot of tight single track here and it turns nimbly and has 2.6 tires to soak up whatever fork and frame leave over. I don’t really like dropper posts much but I anticipate one will go on pretty soon just to see if I can clear a line I’ve been trying for years.

Here is a little set of photos I took in Felton, CA. Felton was hit pretty hard by the fires in Big Basin, we were evacuated for a few weeks and some of us were fortunate enough to return to our homes unharmed. Looks like this old Ford wagon was also fortunate to dodge the fire too.
