Tumbleweed Stargazer Titanium Frames Restocked $2850 (frame/fork)

The Tumbleweed Stargazer is one of the best touring bikes on the market and the titanium frame ups the ante even more. These frames are built with multi-butted, cold-formed oversized custom 3Al-2.5V tubing that stands up to loaded off-road riding without turning into a noodle. The first batch sold out almost immediately and Tumbleweed just posted another run in its webshop.

  • 3Al-2.5V multi butted titanium tubing, ovalized top tube and down tube
  • Frameset includes titanium frame with steel fork, seat clamp, front and rear thru axles
  • Ti frame saves approximately 2lbs over the steel frame (4.25lb vs 6.25lb for an Extra Medium or 57cm frame)
  • Brushed bare titanium finish with dark midnight logos and a matching dark midnight steel fork (same fork that comes with the steel frameset)
  • 29×2.6” or 27.5×3.0” tire clearance with machined titanium chainstay yoke
  • 31.6mm seatpost (compatible with internally routed dropper posts)
  • 44mm headtube for ZS44 upper headset cups and EC44 lower cups, 30mm crown race with stock fork
  • Threaded bosses for full size racks and fenders front and rear, three sets of bottle bosses on main triangle, triple bottle bosses on each fork leg
  • 148x12mm frame spacing and 110x15mm fork spacing
  • 160/180mm flat mount disc brakes front and rear
  • 1x drivetrain specific frame, 38t max chainring with 52mm chainline

Rogue Panda Dropper Block $40

Finally, folks with odd-sized dropper posts have a way to attach a seat bag! Rogue Panda designed its DropperBlock to mount on droppers with 22mm or 28mm stanchions, providing a secure mounting point while protecting the stanchion from wear and the wiper seal from damage.

The DropperBlock is made of 3D-printed nylon and comes in two parts which bolt together to create a perfect mounting surface for Rogue Panda’s Ripsey Seat Bag or any seat bag with a 1″ wide strap.

Currently, the Flagstaff-based bag makers are only producing the DropperBlock in two diameters – 22mm and 28mm. If your dropper has a 25mm or 26mm stanchion, you’ll need a Wolf Tooth Valais instead.

Product development like this is what makes Rogue Panda so awesome! See more at the brand’s webshop.
