Whether you want a set for your new Roadini or your old beausaged Bombadil, Rivendell has a set of SILVER cranks for you. These square taper cranks look like the offerings from yesteryear while offering a variety of gear assemblages for any bike.
The SILVER crank is cold-forged from 7075 T6 aluminum; the best grade for crankarms. It’s more expensive, but imparts a grain to the metal in a way that casting and machining doesn’t. It’s compatible with JIS taper bottom brackets, which are most of them, and the chainline is about 47 with a 110mm Shimano BB, and 50mm with a 113. The Q-Factor with a 107mm BB is 154mm.
As with everything Riv-related, there’s a lot more to be said about these beautiful cranks, so roll on over to Rivendell to check out the restocked SILVER cranks.
The lightest and most versatile long-tail Cargo Bike in the world. Starting at 34lbs it carries up to 440lbs, the Haul-a-Day is unlike anything Bike Friday has offered before. What makes this platform so genius is its low center of gravity, making dismounting or mounting with a load a cinch. The frame adjusts to fit people 4ft 9 in to 6ft 6 in. E-assist is an option and you can disassemble the whole bike to pack into a car trunk for travel. Handmade from raw tubing in Oregon USA.
- Parks vertically on its rear end for small footprint storage.
- Fits on many transport racks: bus, car, and train.
- Clearance for 2.25” tires with fenders and up to 2.4″ tires under certain component combinations.

It features both a zippered and snap button closure so you can choose to use either one, depending on what you’re packing. Included is a tiny removable stabilizer cord that keeps it on your back while riding, but is also easy to put away when you don’t want it.
