Wow! Phil Wood has been making hubs for BMX, MTB, road, and track for 50 years! To commemorate five decades of machining bad-ass components in the USA, the brand is celebrating with these limited edition red, gold, and black (RGB) splash anodized 50th Anniversary Pro high flange track hub wheels.
These wheelsets are available in a 28 spoke hole, double fixed rear hub configuration with lockrings. Phil build each wheelset to order using Velocity Aileron rims and its own double butted 14-15-14 gauge spokes and 14 gauge brass nipples.
Each hub and rim set is uniquely custom anodized for us by Velocity USA at their Grand Rapids facility.
They’re in stock now but who knows how long this stunning package will be available! Roll on over to Phil Wood to see more details.
The new Easton SHI 12 SPD Gravel and Road 1x chainring brings the compatibility of Shimano’s exciting new 12-speed gravel groupsets to the lightest and most versatile crankset in gravel, the Easton EC90 SL. Riders can enjoy a savings of 213g with the EC90 SL crankset and 40T ring, or 30g on our EA90 cranks, conveniently swapping rings with our proven CINCH system to take advantage of the expanded gear range of 12 speed.
Our optimized tooth profile offers excellent chain retention while minimizing drivetrain friction commonly experienced in 1x applications, no chain guide needed. And like all Easton chainrings, our CNC shaping below the teeth improves mud clearance from the tooth-chain interface to prevent chain drop and wear.
This chainring’s updated tooth profile is optimized for Shimano HYPERGLIDE+ 12-speed chains and is compatible with Shimano 12-speed drivetrains.
