Panorama Cycles New Boreal Touring Bike

Panorama Cycles just announced the Boreal, the brand’s all-terrain touring bike…

After announcing the Boreal Pinion a few weeks ago, the Quebec,Canada-based company Panorama Cycles, specialized in adventure bikes, is launching the Boreal with a regular drivetrain : an all-terrain touring bike with a Shimano SLX 1×12 or a Shimano Cues 6000/8000 2×11 drivetrain options.

With its comfortable geometry allowing for an upright position and its wide tire clearance, the Boreal is designed for long bike trips or off-road expeditions. Its sturdy frame and fork, as well as its reliable and low-maintenance components, make the Boreal the ideal bike for touring. The straight Crazy Bars handlebar from Vélo Orange adds a special touch to this new model.

Several wheel/tire combination options are available: For mixed road/off-road touring, 29×2.0 (700×50) tires will provide optimal rolling. For off-road use, 27.5″ diameter tires, specifically 27.5×2.6, will be the appropriate choice. Both options feature 32-spoke wheels (for durability) and are available when purchasing the complete bike. In any case, mud clearance is ample, as the frame and fork can accommodate 29×2.8 tires.

The Boreal is in stock and available on the website www.panoramacycles.com, with delivery scheduled for April 2024. The bike will be available as a frameset (1,399 CAD), or as a complete bike with various drivetrain and wheel/tire options (up to 2,899 CAD).
