If we won the lottery, there would be signs! A customer commissioned Firefly to make a coupled titanium mini bike to fit inside a Rimowa case for easy travel with a bike. This sort of bike is peak custom, so we had to get a closer look…
The idea was to make a lightweight and durable chassis, that broke into halves and packed away into the constraints of the Rimowa case for ease of checked luggage.
Using hydraulic line couples inside the frame, Firefly created a smooth user experience.
This project was made possible by Firefly’s custom, 3D printed forks.
The wheels are ultralight SMC Govan tri-spokes. As with every custom Firefly, the titanium frame becomes a canvas for custom anodizing…
