I’ve got a little interview in the forthcoming Steel Magazine 02 where I discuss fixed freestyle trick comps, riding with Tom and Oscar and other snippets from my recent travels. Be on the look out for it shortly! Check out the other cover and issue summary below!

From Steel:

“Second issue, second color (ref : C :93, M :0,Y :28,B :0), two covers…

On the first cover, the experts will recognize Gregory Baugé, the freshly crowned double world sprint champion (team and individual). The second one, which reflects the summer season (assuming one can talk about summer these days), introduces Ibon, an appealing aficionado from Barcelona.

This issue features:

An exclusive interview of Prolly about FSFG (Free Style Fixed Gear), portraits like Michaël d’Almeida’s (world team speed champion in 2011), and Rude Waterzooi’s, the Parisian tattooist.

A diaporama of Barcelona seen through Cédric Viollet’s lens. A portfolio of the illustrator, Chris Koelle (Bike Snob) who revisits all cyclists photographs with his unique talent. Rock n’Rolling is unravelled through an interview and a selection of delirious pictures. Cyril Saulnier shared the somber shots he took during the filming of Ghostrider II.

Steel enhances its content thanks to new team members: Hélène Tournesac (editorial secretary), the photographs Ronan Merot et Jean-Pacôme Dedieu,

the stylists Atsushi Hasegawa and Julien Dartois and the chronicler Olivier Schmitt. Without forgetting Nicolas Lockart and Thibault Rivière (soundtrack), Manuel Schürholz (traffic, distribution) and Daniel Hanart (Lebatard).

Many thanks to our friends and models for their support and their presence.”
