We’ve all been tinkering while staying at home during the pandemic. Marco chose the All-City Gorilla Monsoon as the chassis for his newest build project and over the past 18 months, he’s been perfecting the build. Let’s see it in detail below…

Featuring custom shaped Dedacciai Zero/Zero Uno tubing, mixed with Reynolds, a 66º (sagged) head angle, clearance for a 29×2.6″ tire and a 34t chainring, 73mm stainless BSA threaded bottom bracket shell, the Mason Cycles RAW is a made in the UK expedition-ready hardtail that’s available as a frame, frame+fork, or two build kits, SLX or Deore XT.

The RAW takes touring and long-distance rides seriously, with 15 discrete integrated bottle/bag/accessory mounts, including semi-custom options such as male threaded/standard bottle bosses or top tube pack mounting points. It also has rack mounts and is designed for a 120mm travel fork.

I love my Pelago Rasket on my Crust Bikes Dreamer but one of the things I’m not stoked about it is the limited bag offerings. After reaching out to a variety of bag makers, requesting a “custom” bag for my Rasket, the team at Wizard Works threw its wizard cap into the arena and offered to help me out. Well, after a few months, my Pelagazam bag designed specifically to the dimensions of the Raskett, showed up and I shot some initial photos of this nifty bag this morning, so let’s check it out in detail below!

With a new, steeper seat tube angle of 75.5°, a 63.5° head tube angle, 430mm chainstays, and a bottom bracket height of -58mm, the 2022 Orange Crush Pro 27.5er is right there in terms of existing within the hardcore hardtail geometry. There’s also a new chainstay yoke, promising excellent chainring and tire clearances, and yeah, we love the new paint job!

Follow Aaron Rolph‘s 2700km bikepacking trip up the United Kingdom, taking anything but the shortest route. His self-propelled journey involved various activities along the way but when things don’t go to plan, his lockdown daydream ends as a hospitalised nightmare. A year on, time has passed yet nothing had really changed, follow his epic adventure from the Scilly Isles to the Shetlands.

In July 2020, a group of five friends had planned an epic tour of Europe, but plans changed. A new tour was cobbled together in a week, and the new destination was set: Scotland.
