Chris King Precision Components has released the latest in its range of iconic component colors, Two-Tone Black Punch. The new color features subtle, matte black backgrounds with intense magenta accent tones. It replaces the Two-Tone Black Gold colorway that was sunset from the line in October.
Chris King Two Tone Black Punch will be available at all Chris King partner shops, as well as on the company’s own website at Chris King.
Originally produced in 1988, 3D Violet was Chris King‘s first component color (after silver and black, of course). After a long hiatus, it’s been back in the Portland, Oregon-based manufacturer’s lineup for the last couple of years. Now, with the release of the brand’s new King Seatpost Collar and Robert Axle Project-manufactured King Thru Axles, you can lace your frame with 3D Violet from headsets to hubs, axles, and bottom brackets.

Chris King Precision Components has streamlined hub ownership and maintenance with a new Gen 4 hub line that uses universalized drivers and axles. This is not a performance-based evolution. King’s in-house signature bearings and proprietary RingDrive system remain, but these new Gen 4 hubs make service and upgrades more effortless and less expensive.
