ACtoFive Signature X Cranks €390

ACtoFive’s Signature Cranks (€790) epitomize the highest-end German manufacturing but the brand wanted to make a more affordable crankset. Enter the Signature X cranks (€390). Half as expensive. Still made in Dresden. Still manufactured to the exacting standards all ACTOFIVE products follow. Still modular and still beautiful.

The new Signature X crankset represents the next phase of ACtoFive’s expansion and refinement. With its solid CNC construction, this crankset has successfully passed EFBE’s downhill category-5 ISO certification, which might be overkill for a hardtail or rigid MTB but it’s nice to have that assurance when you’re flying down a trail!

Apidura Racing Frame Pack (1L) $68

The Racing Frame Pack (1L) is Apidura’s smallest race-orientated frame bag, specifically designed for fast rides, gravel racing and audax. A compact and minimal bag for storing a pump and tools, electronics or a packable layer. Designed as an alternative to smaller storage packs such as the Racing Top Tube Pack, or to be paired with them as part of an ultra-minimal bikepacking set up.

The Racing Frame Pack (1L) is an easily accessible and waterproof frame bag suited to a wide range of frame geometries and sizes thanks to its reversible design and multiple strap positions. A width of 5cm also makes The Racing Frame Pack (1L) the slimmest frame bag in our Racing Series, minimizing the chances of knee rub on steel-framed audax and randonneur bikes with smaller tube profiles.

With protected cable-routing options in both orientations, and internal lash tabs to secure contents when riding on rough terrain, it is well-suited to charging devices whilst riding.

State Bicycle Co 4130 All-Road in Raw Phosphate $899.99

The 40130 is perhaps the most affordable, most capable bike on the market. If you missed Josh’s review, you should check it out. State is constantly tinkering with the frame finishes and build kits. The latest version features a raw steel finish, made possible by treating the steel with phosphate. Phosphate coating is a chemical treatment applied to steel tubing that creates a thin protective layer, allowing for the raw steel to be exposed without risk of oxidation.

Check out the full specs at State.
