Last week I sold my Canon 80-200 f2.8 L lens and my Canon 60mm f2.8 macro to fund a new lens. I’ve been eyeing a 85mm lens for some time now, since most of my shots with the 80-200 were around 85 or 90mm, I figured why not go with a prime and take advantage of the sharpness. After messing with the Canon 85mm f1.2 L ii and the Zeiss 85mm f1.4, I opted for the latter. It’s all manual but man, is it sharp, especially in low light settings. Wanting to practice on some common subjects, I took my Geekhouse Woodville out for a few shots.
