Originally designed to be used in the Paris-Brest-Paris Randonnée – a 1,200km unsupported race to be complete in less than 90 hours – the Rapha Brevet Jersey and gilet has become a staple in their lineup. Each year, a signature gilet compliments the Brevet jersey as a high-visibility accessory for when riding at dusk, dawn and at night. This year, Rapha’s take on high-vis leads them to high contrast stripes, with each gilet and jersey combination using various colors.

The film For the Love of Mud had a successful launch here in Austin during the Cyclocross National Championships and I’m pretty gutted to have missed it. To help recoup some of the costs of such an overwhelming project, they’ve been running a kit pre-order, which ends tonight – sorry for the last minute notice.

Releases like these always make me miss the warm and sunny rides we have here in Texas, almost year round. Even as the temperatures are freezing currently now. The To the Sun Collection is Rapha’s latest capsule. Including sun sleeves, which are a summer staple ’round these parts, a lightweight cap and a lightweight, race cut jersey.

A while back, I gave Kyle from Tracko a Forestbound zippered pouch that was made from old M90 camouflage. Kyle and Bobby at Endo Customs made a pattern from that pouch, which was later used in the original Tracko vest.
Each year, Kyle sells a variation of his splinter camo, so this year, I asked if he’d want to do a collaboration. Pure and simple, this Blackened Splinter Camo jersey is just at home in the woods as it is on the road. Mix it with your favorite bibs, or the green Tracko splinter bibs…
