Today, WTB released some new cycling accessories with the launch of their new tire plug kit/pack, lightweight TPU tubes, and valve stems.

TCS Rocket Plug Kit

First, they have their new TCS Rocket Plug Kit. The kit is self-contained in a pill-shaped kit. The kit can use either a small or large tip, depending on how large the hole in your tire is. The metal plug heads act as an anchor once in your tire. The plug heads are also reusable once removed from your tire.

The pill is a bit large but feels solid in hand and has room for 15 plugs and 4 anchors. The lower half acts as a holder plug to keep air from leaking while you set up the the plugs and anchors.

 

 

TCS Rocket Plug Pack

Complimenting The Rocket Plug Kit, the TCS Rocket Plug Pack contains fifteen 1.5mm tire plugs and four anchors (two small and two large). They’ll reload your Rocket Plug Kit when needed, but will also work as a minimalistic tubeless repair kit in their own right when combined with a multitool.

Lighter, more compact, and more durable. NanoAir TPU Tubes could help riders save up to two-thirds the space & weight over a traditional tube. They come with self-adhesive TPU patches too!

We got some of these tubes ahead of time and I decided to weigh them:

• 700 x 32c-47c – 55 grams
• 700 x 18-32c – 36 grams

TCS Max-Flow Tubeless Valve

TCS Max-Flow Tubeless Valves feature an insert-compatible base, increased bore diameter, an integrated valve core remover, and an ergonomically designed nut that allows riders to properly tighten down the valve without the use of a tool. Checking all the boxes for a tubeless valve, especially with the square nut to make tightening down the valves much easier.
