“On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month (11:00 am, 11 November, 1918) the armistice was enacted and the guns of World War I fell silent. The war was over.”

See the full story at Winter. This bike turned out so rad!

Does anybody know what the supposed advantages of dual top tubes are?

    • Bike tubes in 1918 were not particularly strong, and the roads were just as bad. The double top tube was a way of attempting to strengthen the bike. With modern materials this bike has them purely as a nod to the original. That and they look killer.
