Sklar Bikes Raffle Fundraiser

Adam from Sklar Bikes just opened up a fundraiser to support the Susan Wickland Fund and Planned Parenthood Montana:

“Things have been feeling a little dire lately, and I have been trying to figure out a way to at least feel helpful. This seems like a fun way to do it: our very first raffle.

Up for grabs is one custom steel bike frame, a $3600 retail value, and raffle tickets are just $25 each. The more you buy, the more chances you have to win. This is probably also a good time to announce that I have no plans to take custom frame orders for at least the next two years, so hop on now if you’d like this one!

100% of the proceeds will be split between the @SusanWicklandFund and @ppmontana

The Susan Wickland Fund helps provide access to abortions, health care, and sex education to those who need it in Montana (and the three states around us with abortion bans) Planned Parenthood is a national public health provider that ensures all people have access to the care and resources they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their futures.

Please buy as many tickets as you like. I have no plans to offer any custom frames for sale for at least the next two years, so this may be your last chance for a while!

Tickets are available on the “Shop” at Sklarbikes.com. The winner will be announced July 22, the frame will get built this fall.”

Velo Orange Build Diary: Polyvalent Diamond with Sensah Empire and Nextie Rims

While the Polyvalent is Velo Orange’s all-rounder frameset, that doesn’t mean it has to be a slouch! In their recent video, VO paired the frameset with Sensah Empire 2×11 shifty bits, deep section, carbon Nextie rims with our hubs, and a ton of neo-classic Noir components. The outcome is one very speedy Polyvalent.
