Paul Component Engineering launched a fun product today: a Klamper Top Cap ($25)…
Klamper Top Cap? Klopcap? Sure, why not? As good ideas often happen, the birth of this product was serendipitous. Some of the team at Paul were chatting around an assembly area in the machine shop, and there was a small bin of random jumbled PAUL parts sitting on a bench. A Klamper pad adjuster had fallen onto the top of a Boxcar stem, and they took note, exclaiming, “Hey, this looks cool…”.
They started showing it around the shop saying “Are you thinking what we’re thinking?” and everybody was like “YES! That’s a great idea!”
This headset 1 1/8″ top cap looks just like the PAUL Klamper pad adjuster, but fits the top of any stem/spacer situation. Adorned with a friendly reminder to “Have A Nice Ride”, because PAUL really does want you to have a nice ride.
