World of Bikes returns to TPC’s YouTube with a new episode that asks the question: “Can cyclists and animals coexist?” Honestly, this has been weighing on our minds for years now and we hope this episode will put this issue to bed. Watch and decide for yourself if this is a friend or foe-type situation. Leave your verdict in the comments.

Beautiful Builds with John and His Rad Rod Firefly
The second video in our Beautiful Builds series showcases John Watson, the founder of The Radavist’s “Rad Rod” Firefly gravel/all-road bike. Back in 2014, he commissioned Firefly to make him a “gravel” bike before there were gravel bikes. This bike has a road geometry with ‘cross bike clearances and cable routing.

Yeah, Beija Flor!
Life has a way of changing all of our well-thought-out plans. In a moment, how you relate to your career, your friends, your hobbies, your family, can change. This moment for Beija was when her father became one of the first COVID-19 patients. She immediately moved home to Seattle to be with her family. Back in Seattle, Beija discovered cycling and it soon became her mood elevator, her escape from reality and sleepless nights.
Beija wrote a wonderful piece for us this year and we’re stoked to see her getting some recognition by our parent company, The Pro’s Closet!

We Fixed Our Webshop
As you might have noticed when we dropped our Winter product last week that the UX for the webshop was not so hot. We rushed it to get the collection live and shipping as soon as possible since it had already been delayed for so long. Well, we have now had some time to massage the design a bit more. Now when you click on the Shop link, it’ll take you straight to The Radavist’s shop at The Pro’s Closet. We should have done that from the beginning but well… you know how it goes.
We’re also working on a Bikes and Gear sub-shop that contains my personal picks from TPC’s incoming queue. Josh and I will be updating this regularly with steel/ti bikes we think the readers would be interested in, along with other components, accessories, and bike frames. Since TPC gets in hundreds of bikes a day, this will make it a bit easier for all of you to see some fun and funky bikes that we catch as they hit the inventory.
Once again, thanks for your patience and if you have any feedback, drop it in the comments and I’ll take it to the team!

A Sneak Peek At Our Winter Drop
Normally, we would have launched our Winter Drop this week but a few things have delayed the launch, particularly (you guessed it) shortages for t-shirts. We’re in the home stretch now, however, and we’ve got a pretty robust launch on the way. Our webshop is still technically down, although our existing product is live on The Pro’s Closet, and our portal will be redesigned this week. We’ve got shirts, bottles, stem caps, and more on the way. We’re hoping it’ll be live the first week of December and we’ll be sure to get your order out ASAP since all of our goods are being fulfilled in Colorado by The Pro’s Closet’s staff.
Keep your eyes peeled here for an announcement shortly!

Trail Guide: Jason Fitzgibbon
Jason Fitzgibbon, who has delivered some exceptional content here at The Radavist over the years, MTB shredder and wildlife ecologist, makes a point to stop to smell the flowers.
Fitzgibbon monitors, tracks, and documents the vast and delicate landscapes of the southwest. He knows that the more aware people become of the needs of the landscape we share, inhabit, and recreate in, the better we are able to work to sustain and protect it.
Filmmaker and fellow SoCal resident Brian Vernor documents Fitzgibbon as he shreds through subalpine regions around Los Angeles, educating and elaborating on our impact to the regions where we live and ride. Made for The Pro’s Closet.
