ORNOT and Mission Workshop: Axis Hip Pack

For Ornot’s latest drop, they teamed up with SF’s premier bag manufacturer, Mission Workshop to c0-brand their Axis hip packs in Ornot signature colors. These bags are made using a rugged, weatherproof 500d Nylon exterior and nylon coated interior floating liner, designed to protect gear from morning showers to afternoon thunderstorms.

Hip packs are perfect for gravel rides or races and all-day MTB outings to keep your bike light and snappy, free of jingle-jangle. The Axis features include an internal zippered compartment, a key clip, and a rear mini U-lock holder. It also utilizes an ultra-thin laser cut waist belt that ensures the pack is hardly felt while on the move.

Dress up the Rigd Ultraswing with a Camp Table

The Rigd Ultraswing, a spare tire carrier, and bicycle rack swingout system, just got a little more versatile as a car camping accessory with a camp table mount. Now when you finish a ride and return to camp, cooking on a camp stove just became easier. With drop gate real estate a top priority, the Rigd Ultraswing camp table gets the stove off of your drop gate, freeing it up for food prep and snacking.

Rigd offers a Front Runner table (pictured) or a Rago Fab table, offering up two solid options for your next MTB trip or gravel race weekend. Head on over to Rigd to see more.

Philly Bike Expo: 44 Bikes Titanium Marauder Touring Bike

Philly Bike Expo: 44 Bikes Titanium Marauder Touring Bike

The Marauder from 44 Bikes is one hell of a versatile bike, available in steel and titanium, it blurs the line between shreddy MTB and bikepacking bike, sub out to a suspension fork and rip your local trails, or ride it rigid and pack on a few extra pounds of fun.  Kris actually made all of the bags in-house, including the panniers, frame bag, and the stem sacks.  It’s pretty rad to see a frame builder tackle some sewing in addition to wielding a torch. Running a Lupine Lights Pika in lieu of a dynamo allows Kris to run the same wheelset in shred mode as a full touring mode. He even made the rack and fork in house.

Kris built the bike with a mix of Shimano XTR 9100 and XT 8100 brakes, Industry Nine Wheels, a Fox Transfer dropper post and a Wolf Tooth Remote. This bikepacking bike swears to shred, that for sure!
