FYXO’s Melburn Roobaix has hit the lucky 13th year and to commemorate this annual fun ride, these limited edition snapback hats were made, featuring a Black Flag flip with the upside down 13 on the bill. Head to FYXO to pick one up and if you’re attending the Roobaix, have fun out there!

There are many, talented framebuilders in Australia and the Handmade Bicycle Show Australia looks to expose their best work to the masses. The show returns this year, on April 27th-29th, showcasing the builders and products born in Australia. As an example, FYXO recently showcased this Prova Cycles Molti all-road bike, which in itself, has many details, but I can’t get over how good King Cages look in black and that Busyman saddle treatment! In the US, the closest thing to this that could happen on a ride would be a deer jumping out in front of a rider, but somehow, it wouldn’t look as cool!

With a strong heritage in design, Herman Miller is home to archives of numerous textile designers, including Alexander Girard. As a tie-in to the Tour Down Under, Rapha worked with Herman Miller on selecting a series of textile patterns from Girard’s catalogs and applied them to cycling caps, named after famed regions of Southern Australia, a truly beautiful part of the world. Each of these caps are in stock now at Rapha and ready to see your part of the world.

“Made in Australia” is not something you see on many of the bikes here on the Radavist, but when that slogan does pop-up, It’s always worth it. Mark from Prova Cycles and Andy White from FYXO met after Andy lurked on the #29+ hashtag on Instagram, landing him on Mark’s own MTB, from there, the two began chatting and Andy began documenting some of his bikes, the latest being this Razzo Road… See more at FYXO!

Our buddy Jeff Curtes is an exceptional photographer and part of the Speedvagen family. Living in Sydney means ‘cross season is here and this season he’s racing for MAAP, an Australian apparel company. When Jeff told me about his new team bike, I requested some photos. It sounded like an awesome build with Di2, a race geometry and no bottle bosses. Yeah…

I can’t even begin to paraphrase Jeff’s words, so check them out below, along with more photos!

Melbourne is a special place for me, with its unique riding and exceptional local cyclists. Recently, the Vanilla Workshop and Speedvagen took to the road, er air, to hop Down Under for an Australian Fit Tour in Sydney and Melbourne. Behind the lens in the latter was Andy White from FYXO who captured some great moments from Sacha and company’s time at Shifter Bikes and on the streets.
