Firefly’s bikes keep throwing me a curve ball. Just when I think I know what I want, I see a sinister steed like this. Hell, even a disc version would be killer. Yes, I just said that.

Here’s part 2 to the Firefly Bones Project video series. On a related note, I had a dream last night that Tyler from Firefly and I got stoned and argued about disc brakes at a football game.
I feel like this is the route I’d go if I ever had a custom-anodized titanium bike. It’s simple, yet clean and refined. At this point, it’s what you’ve come to expect from frame builders like Firefly.

I’ve been riding the shit out of my MTBs lately and really trying to figure out what the best ride is for the Austin trails. Hardtails are where it’s at, unless you’ve got some severe terrain. Personally, I’d rip the shit out of this bike and all it’s doing is making me stoked on my new hardtail coming soon.
Firefly is killing it.
Ibex, one of my favorite wool apparel manufacturers recently featured Firefly, one of my favorite frame builders in their Circles series. That reminds me, I need to buy some new Ibex gear!

In the spirit of the Rapha Continental, the guys at Firefly have added their ‘glow’ to the list of builders who’ve contributed black bikes with a pink letter. Personally, I love that the guys use SRAM Force on most of the Continental machines. It’s like they’re meant to be ridden hard, on gravel and whatever else might be thrown in the rider’s path. I feel like today’s Beautiful Bicycles are sporting some of the most outrageous finishing jobs. First that Death Spray track bike and now this Firefly light-touring bike. Keep in mind, this is only one angle and you can’t even see all the insane detailing (masking hell!). In order to do that, you’ll have to go to the Firefly Flickr!
Cherokee red Eames, meet Firefly Ti. Just as timeless and won’t suck to sit on all day. That’s modernism though, right?
