Onitsuka Tiger Launches Cycling-Inspired Mexico 66

d1f0l_9001.png

Onitsuka Tiger first re-issued the Mexico 66 back in 2002 and immediately, the urban cycling world took hold of its sleek design and fit. Now, in 2011, they re-issue this classic silhouette. I got an email from them yesterday and wasn’t surprised at all. Onitsuka Tiger has sponsored the Bicycle Film Festival for years and seeing them getting back into the urban cycling market has gotta be a side-effect of sponsoring events.

Some improvements in this model include a reinforced rubber outsole, 3M accents throughout and perforations for that classic cycling shoe look.

While I never wore these, I’m sure some of you have. They’re slated to drop this fall, so check your local stockist.
