Boulder, CO, founded and based DEAN Ultimate Bikes, one of the USA’s longest continually running titanium bicycle manufacturers, announced that it has updated its bike lineup and “RetroFresh”ed its website and visual aesthetics. Let’s check it out…

Having launched their prototypes of modernized flagship designs for the Colonel and the El Diente at MADE 2023, the response to the adjustments and debut of their new anodizing process was nothing short of positive. Since MADE 2023, the team has finalized the designs for their road, gravel, and mountain bike models, reinvigorating the brand’s look and feel with a throwback vibe. The product updates to the El Diente (Road), Torreys (Gravel), Colonel (Mountain), and “RetroFresh” highlights include:

El Diente: Disc and rim options, 3D printed flat mount 160mm standard, T47x86mm BB, fast and racy feel, 700x32c tire (a bit more with Integrated setup), 8 stock sizes, custom available

Torreys: Disc, 3D printed flat mount 160mm standard, T47x86mm BB, solid “All Rounder” gravel geo, 700x45C tire, 2x gravel drivetrain compatible, 8 stock sizes, custom available

Colonel: 29×2.5”tire, UDH and T-Type compatibility, 130mm travel (XC version available) T47x73mm BB, modern trail geometry without being overly “progressive”, 6 stock sizes, custom available.

New and Classic finish options: Raw finish or Classic Decals, Single Color Ano Logo, MTN Tie-Dye, Modern Jester and Custom available.

DEAN showcases its continued commitment to a one-at-a-time build approach whether stock or custom and it has been realigning the quality standards; tubing on all stock DEANs is aerospace quality Grade 9 CWSR.
