This has got to be the sickest modern production track bike I’ve ever seen. A mix of fillet brazed Columbus MAX and Zona really hammers home the meaning behind “ono”, or a tool for cutting through your obstacles in Japanese. See more photos of the Tokyo Fixed Ono here and pick one up here. This will probably be your only chance to own a Death Spray Custom designed paint job!

Tokyo Fixed: Jonathon’s Full NJS Nagasawa
I never had an NJS track bike and never really got worked up about the NJS stamp but after seeing bikes like Jonathon’s Nagasawa on the Tokyo Fixed blog, I wonder why the hell I didn’t!

The 2012 Fijate Alleycat and Criterium
Photos by Aarón Borrás
Last month, in Puerto Rico, the PR Fixed community threw a giant event called Fijate. Riders from both coasts came out to compete, party and soak in the endless summer sun of the Carribean. Photographer Aarón Borrás was there, capturing both the alleycat and the criterium. Check out both posts on PR Fixed.

The Return of Tracko
Everyone’s been wondering, “where’s TRACKO?”. Kyle had been saying that he was going to leave the old Tracko at 666 pages, so when it hit the number, he stopped posting. For the past few weeks, in between a little tour, bike shop duties, racing and karaoke at Smoggy, he’s been redesigning his site and working on his first new post for the new Tracko. You should make it over and check it out! I love reading content like that and I remember the early days of Tracko v1.0!
Also, Kyle’s made my life easier now by making his blog body the same width as mine, so I don’t have to resize his photos anymore!
It’s good to have you back dude.

Red Hook Criterium Milano Video
Here’s the first Red Hook Crit Milano video I’ve found on Vimeo or Youtube that’s worth posting. It catches some spills at that turn everyone was complaining about as well as the final moments in the race, leading up to the finish sprint, which I still haven’t seen any video of. Who’s got it?

When Sir Chris Hoy Met Danny MacAskill
This is awesome and yes, a little late but a viewer emailed it over and I hadn’t seen it before. I wanna see Hoy on the trials bike and you’d think they would have changed out the 48:16 gearing on Danny’s bike. Still, two of biggest names in Scottish cycling coming together like this is rad.

Recent Roll: Ian and His Icarus Track Machine Prototype
So Ian at Icarus has been working on this monster track machine for a little while. The idea is that bigger track racers, like 200+ lb sprinters, need a stiff bike and weight isn’t really a big of an issue. So he’s gone oversize everywhere he can. He’s still working on the frame, in his down time but this thing would rip the boards off a velodrome underneath the right racer…

Locked Up: Josh’s LOW
When I see an American-made bicycle Locked Up in front of this mural outside the Liberty, I have to take a photo of it. Especially when it’s a blazing hot bike like Josh’s LOW.
