One of our favorite new “gravel” shoes, the Fizik Powerstrap X4 just got a facelift thanks to the team at PEdALED. Their “JARY” colorway take-over revamps the X4 in a deep blue, with PEdALED branding marked throughout the shoe in a mustard gold, complimenting the gum sole. The Powerstrap already looked great as it was but these new collaboration shoes take the cake. They retail for $192 and are in stock at PEdALED. See more high res images below…

A First Look at the Condor x PEdAL ED Bivio Odyssey All Road Frameset

At the UK handbuilt bicycle show in Bristol, this weekend Condor Cycles showed off their new, made in Italy Bivio Odyssey frameset. It is a collab with the Italian clothing brand, PEdALED.

Condor teamed up with PEdALED in 2017 and 2018 with their pro cycling team but at the 11th hour, just before the start of the 2018 Tour of Britain, their key sponsor JLT, gave Condor some bad news they wouldn’t be continuing as they had been taken over unexpectedly, leaving them with a bit of a void. Condor really enjoyed teaming up with PEdAL ED as they are a very relaxed and easy to work with brand, so they decided to make an aluminum frame inspired by the Silk Road Mountain Race they sponsor and newly-launched Odyssey clothing range.

PedalEd’s New Tokaido Collection Features an Insulated Jacket and Vest

Wind vests are great, but when it gets cold on your ride, it’s nice having a little extra protection. PedalEd’s newest collection, dubbed Tokaido, features a lightweight, packable, and insulated jacket and vest. Made with Polartec, these layers will keep your core warm when the weather changes. The same material keeps the US Special Forces warm when they’re in the field… See the Tokaido Jacket and Tokaido Vest at PedalEd.

There’s a melancholic beauty to first times. It holds the excitement of the unknown, the nervous expectations of true adventure. With the inaugural Silk Road Mountain Race, race director Nelson Trees set out to create just that: a great adventure. ‘I wanted to create a race in an area that is close to my heart but is unknown to many. A little daunting, a bit out there. Something that any reasonably fit rider would be able to pull off but would also push contestants beyond their comfort zone.’ And that he did.

The Pale Mountains Road

Here’s one from PedalED’s latest video Journal entry:

“The mountains are my life, I live here, my house is here and my love too. The roads that surround my house they unravel into the woods until they reach the high silver-colored peaks and limestone summits that form a stone ring around the village. I know all of those peaks, I have been up there hundreds of times, I know all the paths, I know all the small lakes created from ice, I know every stone and I know how hard and beautiful it is to get there. When I look at those peaks my mind blows up into thousands of different memories related to them.”
