Bikes and Food. That’s the theme for a new web series called Pedaling NYC. Above is the first episode entitled “Pizza Fixation”. In this installment, Chris Jaeckle and his friends ride around in search of Pizza Moto, a mobile pizza oven.

As I was heading back from riding with Ed Glazar today (more on that later) I swung by Calvary Cemetary in Queens. I’ve ridden by it 100 times and never actually went inside, at least not through this entrance. While inside, I snapped a few pics of my matte black Bruiser. This week’s Merckx Mondays comes from the Swiss website, Speedbicycles. If you haven’t been to their site before, do check it out. It’s a virtual museum loaded with gorgeous rides.
Once again, the Urban Velo guys get their hands on a new bike before anyone else does and do a nice little write up on it. The bike is made by Globe, a brand that’s been around since the 90’s and is owned by Specialized. The new Roll is Globe’s attempt at addressing the new urban fixed gear market and if it didn’t look like a Ghost Bike, I’d say they did a good job.
