Back when I did the Raidô contest, Aaron at 44RN made a few of these purple anodized 44RN 144#47 chainrings. I’ve been holding onto mine for well over a year, waiting on the perfect project to put it on. Over the past few months, I’ve been slowly acquiring parts for a new track bike build, more to come!
Gibranos, aka WOOF, posted tis on his Facebook a while back but I never found the high-res image to post. Here he is, with his Pias track bike, wearing the Raidô viking tee. Man, maybe I should do another run of those?
You might have caught onto a few of these already but I’ve been working hard with Jon Brennan to speed up and enhance the user experience of PiNP. A bunch of new additions were made today:
-Your keyboard arrow keys now navigate the photosets.
-You can now link to a specific photo (i.e. bro).
-Additional footer items.
-New web shop (I hear there are vinyl decals now).
-Faster loading on individual pages.
-Increased mobile compatibility with the Photosets.
We’re still working on some backend functionality to make the site load even faster for you. If there’s anything pressing we missed, leave a note in the comments.

Last night, I told Kyle he could have some of my die-cut vinyl viking stickers. I didn’t expect him to be selling them online though. He must be hard up for money… At any rate, swoop up some silver and black Raido viking stickers at Tracko and while you’re at it, pick up some Save the Track Bike stickers, buttons and throwback Tracko jams.
I shipped all orders on Monday. So if you ordered a Flag Hatchet tee, or the Raidô tee and Stash Pocket Hold Fast FRS, you should be seeing them soon. I still have a few pairs of Hold Fast, so pick them up in the Web Shop. They’ll ship once I’m back from SF for Ride N Style.
Seriously. I’m burnt out and I didn’t even go to many shows. Today was unofficially the “last” day of SxSW. The hordes of people will start heading back to their home town tomorrow and slowly but surely, the decompression and reconstruction of Austin will take place. Yesterday, I met Erik and Sofia from Sweden. In the next few days, they’re leaving on a 10-month cycle tour of the western United States called The Great Escape. I’m letting them crash with me for a few days before they begin their Raidô.
Last night was a wreck, which lead to a great ride and finally, I was ready for music. So this afternoon, I went by Barcelona to see the only DJ group / crew / bass record label I give a shit about anymore, Trouble and Bass. I’ve known these guys for years, since before this blog was even in existence. Seeing them grow and prosper over the years has been very inspiring. I made it in time for Drop the Lime and Death Face‘s sets. As the crowd became even more intoxicated by the deadly bass, the mood darkened and it was still daylight out!

Øyvind Næss shot this night video of Anki riding through the winter slush and snow to promote his photography site. Pure Norwegian black and white videos just look so much more epic. Especially with all that snow.
