Ever notice that the Merckx logo is non-drive side? I thought I’d flip it for you today. It is Merckx Mondays you know? Today I’ve got a bunch of Merckx tidbits including this bit from Italian Cycling Journal:
“The town of Rivalta Brentino of Belluno (VR) is getting ready to relive the emotion of the Granfondo Eddy Merckx-Trofeo Giordana next June 12th, 2011. Eddy Merckx The event will be celebrating its fifth anniversary. Yes, you can ride along side Eddy Merckx.”
Check out more Merckx Mondays below, including the Eddy Merckx Art Box!

I thought this image was fitting. Mostly because of last week’s horrid repaint decal placement. I guess we can’t say that Merckx never placed a logo on the head tube like that. Such a rad shot.
Up next is the Eddy Merckx Art Box.
“The 525 series of this Eddy Merckx art box contains 12 relics which are samples of places where Eddy Merckx wrote history.”

“When open, the art book measures 82cm/32in across and 45cm/17inch in height. The box contains exceptional texts and exclusive photographic material selected by photographer Stephan Vanfleteren (member of the jury of World Press Photo). Stephan is well known for his black-and-white documentary work. This jewel is contained in a luxurious box (61.5cm/20.7in x 50.5cm/19.8in) and is subject to limited availability in three sets: set 525, set 445 and set 150.”
Wow. That’s a holiday gift if I ever saw one! Check out more info here. So many awesome photos in there! Don’t miss it!
