The hardest thing about leaving NYC for the winter was saying bye to all my friends. With the NAHBS on the way, many are heading down but with all big events, it’s hard to get some quality “bro time” with friends which is why Tony decided to come down a little early to get out of the snow-covered Philly streets.
Check out nine more photos below.
I picked him up from the airport and from there we headed over to Fast Folks.
So Tony could put his 14 Bike Co. ESB together.
These are some of my favorite fixed freestyle bikes and Tony’s builds are always full of character.
Unfortunately, it’s still in pieces here because he forgot some parts back up north.
It was late in the day and most shops were closed so we called up Empire BMX and they had the missing part. Since Tony couldn’t ride, AJ drove us.
I wish this was AJ’s car but I don’t think he could pull it off!
We got to Empire, picked up the parts and a few other things and headed back.
I’ve always loved their products and the space is really rad. I gotta do a Shop Visit there at some point.
With the sun setting, AJ messed around a bit in the street. The rest of the night was a clusterfuck. We got absolutely smashed and if you follow me on Twitter, you probably caught an earful last night. Those drinks caused us to get a late start today. Once we got moving, we had a blast though! Wait for those photos to come!
