Yann, a product designer from France has been working on a theoretical a project using Cinelli and Campagnolo‘s classic models to inspire a track bike for the 2012 Olympics. He hit me up with some of his renderings and a brief description of what he designed.

“There are some Campagnolo Record 2012 track hubs, Campagnolo Record Pista crankset with Ultratorque, stem/handlebar combo carbon made, San Marco Zoncolan 2, Campagnolo London 2012 carbon rims, and the 2012 Cinelli Laser.”

That’s a lotta work for a speculative project. Impressive!
