Caves & Coves Tough Tour – a 1350km photo-based bikepacking race on Vancouver Island that will test even the strongest of legs with almost 20,000m of climbing. It is an open FKT style race with no grand depart. The course is open from June 1 to Sept 30, giving riders the ability to fit it into their summer plans. The rules are designed to slow riders down and see some sights by having 23 mandatory selfies required for an “official” finish.

In addition you can earn up to 17hrs back time by completing 8 more bonus photos ~ like photographic proof of swimming in the ocean. 2023 was the first year, and of the five people that entered four scratched. It really lives up to it’s name “Tough Tour.”
