Remember our coverage from last year’s Lost and Found? If you missed the Reportage, here’s a refresh. If you wanted to partake in the fun this year, make sure you register for the first of three events in the Sierra Buttes Triple Crown. The Lost and Found Registration opens tonight, Monday, February 18th at 8:00pm PST. The team at the Buttes have worked out a new route too!
Read on below on how you can win a custom gravel bike for $10 featuring ENVE parts and be sure to check out our Builders for Builders gallery on the Related column on the left.
“Trail builders and frame builders – they go together like peanut butter and chocolate. Opening the same day Lost and Found registration opens, the second annual Builders for Builders is a fundraiser where each $10 ticket purchased enters you to win a custom, handbuilt gravel bike to fit you by your pick of five highly respected builders including Stinner Frameworks, Sklar Bikes, Mosaic Cycles, McGovern Cycles and Argonaut Cycles, with each bike featuring a full component setup from ENVE Composites.
“There’s no limit to how many tickets purchased, and although it only takes one to win, if you want better odds, purchase as many as possible knowing that all the proceeds go back to the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship and our mission of making #dirtmagic.
In its inaugural year at Lost and Found 2018, the Builders for Builders fundraiser secured $40,000, money that will be used for public recreation assets like Beckwourth Peak Trail and Mills Peak Trail while creating much-needed jobs in the Lost Sierra region. Just as much as the winning Builders for Builders bike will be a work of art, so are the trails that our trailbuilders create, and your support is what makes both happen.
One lucky winner will be drawn on June 7. Good luck!“
