Philly Bike Expo Returns for Second Year
Fall 2011 brings back bicycle culture celebration

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA) On October 29 & 30, Bilenky Cycle Works will host the 2nd Annual Philly Bike Expo at the historic 23rd Street Armory in Philadelphia, PA.

“Last year’s show was a smashing success,” says Bina Bilenky marketing director at BCW and promotions coordinator for the Expo. “Attendance, participation, and buzz exceeded all expectations for a first-time event.”

The Philly Bike Expo will again feature a wide array of activities to interest, inspire, and inform bicycle aficionados, weekend enthusiasts and those merely curious about the fun and fitness awaiting on two wheels.

“The bicycle is experiencing an explosion similar to when it was first introduced over 100 years ago,” says Stephen Bilenky owner of Bilenky Cycle Works. “The health benefits as well as the economics of self-propelled transport are becoming more obvious than ever.”
Artisans and manufacturers of bicycles, accessories and apparel will be displaying their latest products. Seminars, workshops, and demonstrations will be held. The fashion show, a highlight of last year’s Expo will be back with more variety and more theatrics. There will be raffles, giveaways, and parties with live music.

The Philly Bike Expo continues its mission of celebrating all aspects of bicycle culture.
