Jeff from All-City sent this my way. The new All-City Photo Annual is out (V3 already?!) and the new All-City product catalog. Each year it gets better and better. See more here. I’ve even got some shots in there this year.

Merckx Mondays
See larger here
David Lundqvist got ahold of a beautiful Stuttgart pista frameset and built it with all Campagnolo C-Record Pista. I am drooling right now. And no, that’s not my old frame. This one’s in much better condition. It’s been a while since a Merckx Mondays, but I thought this deserved one!
There’s one more gem below.

Ritchey Classic Logic Curve Bars Are Amazing
So you’ll have to excuse the enthusiastic photos and copy here but since I got my new fork on my Icarus ViKing Track, I’ve been looking for a polished silver, non-grooved 31.8, 44cm wide road bar, but to no avail. Track drops on the street aren’t for me. They never come wide enough and I like having multiple hand positions on the bike while riding.
I couldn’t figure out why it was so hard to find that exact bar. Surely someone else wanted it? It wasn’t until a friend showed me the Ritchey Classic Logic Curve that I thought there even existed such a bar. Minimally branded and all of the above, these bars fit the bike perfectly.

Yanco’s Waterford Track
Yanco is one tough dude. He recently completed a 100 mile race. Which he ran and every time I’ve rode with him, he’s in the big ring the whole time. He’s also the fella behind all the Yancosaurus Rex products, like those slick Ramblin Rolls that no one can get their hands on… I shot a few photos of him and his Waterford track bike outside GSC while I was in LA. Check em out!

Victoire Cycles: New Made in France Frames
We all have seen Victoire Cycles‘ exquisite hubs and last week, Julian emailed me a few teaser shots of their new made in France track frames along with this little blurb:
“This frame is built around a really special set of tubes, made in France. Each tube is triple butted and D-shaped. We only made 8 sets of tubes so this frame will be available in only 8 units.”
More to come on this… In the meantime, what’s going on with those Bishop hubs? They’re too nice!

Affinity Premium Rush Bikes
While a lot of companies are trying to cash in on Premium Rush with horrid “fixies”, Affinity was the company that supplied the movie with the bikes. To commemorate this weekend’s premiere, Affinity has a limited supply of Premium Rush Affinity Metropolitan completes. Here’s the press-release:
“With the upcoming release of the movie Premium Rush, The Affinity Bicycle Co. has played a key role and supplied its Metropolitan and Kissena frame sets for the main character Wilee played by Joseph Gordon Levitt and Kym Perfetto, a NYC bike messenger and fitness guru who has a cameo and also worked as a stunt double for co star Dania Ramirez.
The Affinity Metropolitan ridden by Wilee is a street and track specific bike made from 4130 steel and created to handle to rigors of street riding but with the aggressive race geometry of a track bike. Unlike its predecessor the Lo Pro, Affinity’s first and more notable pursuit style track frame, the Metropolitan is a more understated work horse, with its stream lined look and straight blade fork. It comes street ready with front and rear brake options, making it legal on the road or pull the brakes off for use on the velodrome.
Catch the Metropolitan limited edition frame set in pure white, with the classic Affinity bladed crown lugged fork. Also available in limited quantities, Affinity will be supplying an original sticker pack. Make your bike rad by customizing the frame so its just like the movie bike.”
Check out more photos below and be sure to check the Affinity Blog for info on the group ride to the premiere.

This has all the ingredients to be one of two things: a track beast or a street weapon. The Colossi Sticky Fingers is a rather unique frame. 6061 tubing too! Check out more here.

Hiro Fukui: Street Photography in SF
I met Hiro in SF during the Ride + Style weekend and have been meaning to make a post about him ever since. His street photography centers around what many would refer to as the “fixie famous” contingency but it’s not limited to bikes at all. Check out more of his work here and here.

Fyxation: 31.8 Rodeo Pursuit in Stock
“Made out of double butted 6061 aluminum the 31.8 Rodeo Pursuit bar is strong, stiff and light. The Rodeo Pursuit Bullhorn bar with 31.8 clamp provides a wide range of hand positions and a subtle 40mm drop for a comfortable and quick forward position. Whether riding the center for relaxed spinning or forward for sprints, the Rodeo Bullhorn bar is the ideal pursuit bar.”
Options are good, especially at this price!
