State Bicycle Co: New Shirts and Undefeated Road Disc in Tie Dye and Pearl

State Bicycle Co offered up a sneak peek at its new Undefeated Road bike with a fancy tie-dye and pearl paint job. These new framesets have been re-engineered with Y9 aluminum which is 6061 aluminum with added titanium, resulting in a new alloy composition that allows for the thinnest possible wall thickness to be used. And yes, while the new bikes look great, we’re really excited to see those new shirts hit the market too! Check out the new Undefeated Road disc road and track bikes and the “It’s Just Bikes” shirts at State.

Our Winter ’21 Drop Is Live!

Our Winter ’21 Drop Is Live!

With supply chain shortages, backlogged production, and having to find a new screen printer who could actually get shirts for us, I thought this day would never come but we’re here, finally! Our Winter drop is live in our webshop via The Radavist shop at The Pro’s Closet. We’ve got collaboration artist bottles with Shaun Marcus from Silver Stallion, a Radasnake design from Collette Marie that’s been over a year in the works, colored stem caps, a re-up of our Bobby Dixon-designed DUNE-inspired top caps, new sock designs by Cari Carmean, and as always, our LAND-designed logos on classic t-shirts.

I also thought it would be nice to include some of TPC’s Certified Pre-Owned bikes and new products in the webshop as well. You can sort the goods by “Merch“, “Bikes“, and “Gear“. I’ll personally be updating this list weekly, so check back for a curated look at fine steel and titanium bikes that TPC gets in stock. Like that Rivendell Roadeo for $2224.99

Now that the good news is out of the way, it’s time for some bad news. We’ve tried to get international shipping handled but since The Pro’s Closet is now shipping all of our merch, they will only ship to the US and Canada. We’re trying to figure out a solution to this problem but right now, your best bet is to use an international forwarding company… I’m really sorry to be the bearer of this news and I’m hoping we can work this out sooner than later. Another note is our head-banging experience trying to integrate Shopify in our WordPress website. It sucks. They don’t want to play with each other, so apologies for the multiple windows you’ll have to open in order to pick out your goods! The last bit of good news is TPC ships with FedEx so you’ll be receiving your goods MUCH FASTER from here on out!

Thanks for your patience in this transition period! If you’re a web developer who has successfully mated WordPress and Shopify, I’m all ears!

Thanks for your support!

Rivendell’s New Peace Wheel T-Shirts

Rivendell’s New Peace Wheel T-Shirts

When Rivendell posted this graphic the other day on their Instagram, all I could think is how great of a graphic it is and how we can all use a little hope. Today, Rivendell announced these new shirts… and there’s a good cause driving their sales:

“Seven dollars from each shirt go to a local POC who works in a grocery store and whose dream is to get a down payment on a house so he and five family members can live there. I believe in him, I’ve given him a decent amount myself, it’s not a con, but it’s not the kind of thing you can write off on your taxes, and he has no idea anything is coming. We’ll match your $7, so—you get a groovy Peace Wheel Shirt and he gets $14. That will put him over the top two years sooner than he’d be able to working alone. We’ll report if it works. Yes, a crazy idea, but by modern T-shirt standards this is more than a $25 shirt, anyway, so it’s no like you’re paying more for it just because it helps this person.”

A good cause and a great design goes a long way. If you can, show your support and scoop one of these shirts at the Rivendell webshop.

the Radavist 2020 Winter Drop

This has been a long time coming. We’ve been waiting on all of our Winter Drop products to trickle in from various suppliers and we’ve finally got enough to release them in time for the holidays. Fresh in stock are three new bottle designs, a new Nalgene design, four long-sleeve tees, and two sock designs, all ready to ship to you today.

We’re particularly proud of our collaboration with artist Evan Weselmann on the “Desert Trip” graphic.

While this should be no problem to get domestic orders to you by X-mas, it might take a bit for international orders, thus we cannot guarantee delivery by the holidays for international orders.

Head on over to the Radavist Webshop to order.

Good Trouble Cycling Club Tee

Good Trouble Cycling Club Tee

This is a great shirt design with a great cause!

The Good Trouble Cycling Club tee pays tribute to the badass cyclist-protestors who have been rallying together to organize and protect protestors on-foot during the Black Lives Matter movement. They ride day-in and day-out to protect their communities, educate others about riding while putting themselves in harm’s way to combat hate, ignorance, injustice, and evil.

They incite GOOD TROUBLE. They fight back.

We created this shirt in collaboration with Santa Barbara artist-ace DJ Javier.

40% of the profits from this shirt will be donated to the Sarah Pitts Memorial Bike Collective – A workshop that encourages diversity within the cycling community and seeks to empower poc, women and the LGBTQ communities through education classes and subsidized bikes for those in need.

Printed on 100% Cotton USA Made Bayside Blanks.

Please allow 2 weeks to ship.

Club Ride’s Summer Drop Features Modernized Western Vibes and More

We’re all about adaptive re-use over here and love vintage Wrangler shirts for riding but at the same time we can’t deny that modern fabrics might have an edge over those vintage poly blend shirts. The Club Ride drop this year features the best of both worlds with designs inspired by old Western shirts, made from fabric with four-way stretch built in, as well as UPF 50 protection. These shirts are a 85% Poly / 15% Spandex blend, offering comfort and stretch and the best part is you don’t have to cover your arms with sunblock each ride. I just wish this Gracie shirt (women’s) came in the same design as a men’s but the New West model ain’t bad either. See the entire 2020 drop at Club Ride.

We Restocked the Webshop with More Socks, Shirts, and Some New Goodies

Our summer drop shirts sold out in only a few hours and the same for a few of our sock designs. For that, we can’t thank you enough, so we decided to restock those products plus a lot more. In lieu of the black Eternal Jackal shirt, we chose a Cobalt blue shirt with a bone-white natural ink. The Chamisa and tan Shred Lightly shirt designs are also back in stock.

We also added grey Voile straps, more Yucca and Cloud socks, and finally, those beautiful Buffalo Turquoise Ringtail desert hats!

We also restocked our Nalgene bottles and a few other cycling bottle designs, including the OGOD Radavist shorties, Golden Sunrise Roadrunner, and Big Deserted bottles. Everything is in stock now and shipping this week in our new eco-friendly packaging materials from EcoEnclose.

From everyone involved with the Radavist, we thank you.

ORNOT’s Short Sleeve Trail Shirt Uses Polartec Power Dry Fabric

With warmer months on the way, it’ll soon be time to leave the jacket at home and confidently roll out your door with a short sleeve tee shirt on. For those looking for a more casual look on the trail this year, check out ORNOT’s Short Sleeve Trail Shirt, made from Polartec Power Dry Fabric, in this new coyote color. Now, before you huff and puff about a $50 shirt, know that these shirts are made from Polartec’s nicest fabric that features a material called X-static that keeps your clothes smelling fresh even after a few rides. I’ve been riding in it this week and am very impressed. That’s coming from someone who only wears merino wool shirts, year-round. This shirt will be in heavy rotation this year!

This ain’t your normal synthetic fabric that stinks to high heaven after just a short pedal. These shirts are sewn in San Francisco and are in stock now at ORNOT.

New Long Sleeve Tees, Pins, and Bottles in Stock Now

We’re inspired by what we see on our rides in Southern California and the Southwest in general! One of the joys of riding in the summer is catching glimpses of a local species of horned lizard, the Blainville’s Horned Lizard – Phrynosoma blainvillii. They’ll be laying all over the trails around 3,000′ in elevation all summer long soaking up the sun’s rays. These little critters inspired our new pins, a long sleeve tee, and bottles. Then for good measure, we re-stocked our Radavist Jackal long sleeve t-shirts. Both shirts are printed with eco-friendly discharge ink this time. After a wash or two, you won’t even feel anything on the printed logos, resulting in the softest feeling shirt you’ll own.

All four of these are in stock now at our webshop:
Jackal Long Sleeve T-Shirt Classic Script with Discharge Print
Horned Lizard Long Sleeve T-Shirt Classic Script with Discharge Print
Horned Lizard Radavist Pin
Horned Lizard Shred Lightly Bottles

In Stock: the Shred Lightly™ Collection

It’s been a long time in the making and after much consideration, we’re adopting a new slogan for this website. In an attempt to describe the kind of riding we enjoy and cover here on the Radavist, we’ll be using “Shred Lightly™” on our products and insignia. Don’t worry, the Radavist Jackal and other LAND branding aren’t going anywhere. ;-)  With this new slogan, we wanted to launch a product pack, inspired by the southwest iconography, lore, and symbolism, featuring the Greater Road Runner (Geococcyx californianus) and the Spanish Bayonet Yucca bloom (Hesperoyucca whipplei).

Many thanks to Steve Bretson, Cari Carmean, and Bobby Dixon for their typography work on these products. The Golden Sunrise bottles, Black Nocturnal bottles, Reminder stem caps, black pocket t-shirts, and tan pocket t-shirts are all made in the USA, and in-stock now at the Radavist Web Shop. We’ve got more products on the way this summer and fall. For now, check out some more product photos below!
