The Radical Adventure Riders just posted two new stickers to its webshop. Every cent of the sales of these stickers goes toward growing RAR’s nationwide rider programs. Check ’em out at RAR.

The 2021 SJ Brooks Scholarships seeks to increase access, reduce barriers, and center voices specifically for BIPOC cyclists who are trans, woman, non-binary, intersex, two-spirit, and/or genderqueer. The application will close at 9 pm (PST) on September 30, 2021.

Applicants must be BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, person of color) and TWIG (Trans, Women, Intersex, & Genderqueer). All applicants who are not BIPOC should spread the word to BIPOC cyclists in their community circles.

The Radical Adventure Riders has launched their SJ Brooks Scholarship Fundraiser on GoFundMe to help BIPOCQI folks gain access to cycling opportunities and the outdoors. You can head to RAR to read more about this scholarship and head on over to the GoFundMe if you can help out.

Last year, the Cycling Industry Pledge was founded by the RAR. Its intent is to hold companies accountable to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the cycling community with signees making a commitment to actions outlined in the pledge. Previously known as WTF Bikexplorers, the Radical Adventure Riders are looking forward to increasing and enhancing gender inclusivity and racial equity in the bicycle and outdoor adventure communities.
