Charge and Red Bull UK are bringing back the Hill Chasers event!

“The UK’s only multi-discipline, uphill sprint race is coming to Scotland for the very first time to settle a long standing battle between bike disciplines. Who will have the stamina and speed to prove that their bike is the fastest on Edinburgh’s most iconic hill?

Red Bull Hill Chasers is a night time uphill eliminator race for all bike disciplines, BMX, Mountain Bike, Road Cycling and Fixed Gear. Taking place on the iconic Grassmarket up Victoria Street, qualifiers are open to 500 cyclists. The fastest 30 riders from this heat will be selected for the main event where they will go up against 10 of the UK’s most elite cycling legends in a bid to be crowned Red Bull Hill Chasers 2013 ‘King of the Hill’”

Kyler Martz drew up this sick flier for the Ups & Downs benefit alleycat race in Seattle. All proceeds will go towards Jake Ricker’s medical bills after his wife was attacked by dogs last year.

I’m digging all these event fliers coming out of Colorado. Here’s one for the upcoming True Crit in Boulder on March 2nd. Check out more information on the event’s Facebook.

This year’s cross fever is finally settling down even though people are still buzzing from the CXWC in Louisville last weekend. The number of people who have emailed me their galleries is overwhelming but when I came across Emily Maye’s photos, I had to share. Check out her full gallery here!

One of the first alleycats I raced in was Monster Track. At the time, it was one of the most exhilarating experiences I have had. It’s crazy to think that this race is in its 14th year and has influenced alleycats the world over.
