SOLD OUT! The Black on Black Radavist Jackal Fleece

We’re all really stoked on these fleeces. Not just because they’re printed gloss black on a black fabric, but because they’re made in Los Angeles by our friends at Team Dream Team. Yep. That’s right, these aren’t re-branded fleeces, they’re designed, cut and sewn in LA to Team Dream’s specifications. We wanted our first fleece (crazy right?) to be simple, featuring the Radavist’s spirit animal, a Jackal with a long tail that it’s always tripping and falling on. Weird, I know.

The lightweight fabric fits like a glove, so if you like yours baggier than normal, order a size up. For what it’s worth, I wear a large shirt, a large jersey and most of my cut and sew clothing are size large- I wear a size large in these too.

Available now, in a limited release for $45 plus $10 domestic shipping or $18 international. Shipping is a lot because fleeces weigh a lot. Scoop up one below and many thanks to Mark from Vacation Vinyl for modeling.

SORRY SOLD OUT!

The Radavist National Forest Sign Socks

The Radavist National Forest Sign Socks

Ok, so our shipping department mis-counted socks, so we have some small and mediums left. No promises on how long they’ll last, but I thought I’d put them in stock… Scoop up a pair below! Also, all orders have shipped, so you should see them soon!

We love our Angeles National Forest here in LA and the sign leading up to the Angeles Crest along Highway 2 has become an icon for road and MTB rides. These socks were inspired from the simple color palette found across the nation in National Forests, resulting in a split tone sock with minimal branding. The colors are “natural” and “brown”, with the Radavist script on the underside of the foot. Made by DeFeet in North Carolina from their AirEater double cuff model, these socks will last through the seasons and provide the compression and comfort you’ve come to expect from the brand.

In stock now for $16 plus shipping ($5 Domestic and $12 International.) Before you ask, we cannot combine your order with the fleeces we posted earlier in the week. A completely different fulfillment center is shipping these orders. We wanted to launch these items separately to give everyone a chance to purchase. Again, thanks for the support!

Team Dream on Their Fade Jersey

Team Dream on Their Fade Jersey

“Again, I am not the inventor of the gradient jersey design and Rapha is 100% entitled to do whatever they wish. I reference a ton of soccer jerseys, iconic designs, fashion and anything else that strikes my fancy. I also do my best to be honest and, most importantly, bring something new to cycling. These fades have been on my radar since the beginning stages of Team Dream.

We (Endo Customs & myself) could never really get the fade “just right” so it took a long time to produce a finished piece that lived up to our standard. We played with different ideas until pinstripes came up & there you go! The gradient, much like the stripes or polka dots cycling companies regularly visit, are one of the most basic graphic options available. The simplicity of the gradient jersey means that the concept is very easy to replicate… and I am cool with that!”

DSPTCH Launches a Camera Bag Line

DSPTCH Launches a Camera Bag Line

… and it’s made in the USA! These days, you rarely see bags like this made in America. Higher end bag companies will make their product in China and sell it for what the DSPTCH RuckPack retails for, raking in a huge margin. While it’s without a doubt a steep pricepoint, there’s nothing more luxurious than supporting workers in your country with a product that’ll last for years. Oh and black multicam. Yeah, that’s nice too.

Check out the RuckPack and the rest of the new camera bag line at DSPTCH. If you’re looking for something else a little less expensive, check out their new camera straps too!

Kitsbow’s Icon Wool Flannel Shirt is Back in New Colors

In what I would consider Kitsbow’s best product, the Icon wool flannel shirt returns in three new colors: blue, grey and red. This is seriously the best flannel I’ve ever owned and when the temperature dips, it’s always in my pack or on my back. The flexible shoulder gussets and extra material on the arms really makes this an extremely durable and versatile flannel.

Made in the USA with a pricetag of $195. See more at Kitsbow!

Search and State: S2-R Performance Bib Shorts

Search and State’s S1-S riding bib shorts are still some of my favorite bibs. With a few tweaks, their newest piece of apparel will not disappoint. The S2-R performance bib is cut from the same fabric as the S1-S riding bib, but with a new, still comfortable chamois, longer shoulder straps, a reshaped mid section and an improved leg elastic pattern. The S2-R bib is still made in New York City and is in stock now at Search and State.

Matt’s Kish Titanium Disc ‘Cross

Reportage

Matt’s Kish Titanium Disc ‘Cross

Matt from SWRVE got himself an early Christmas present this year. His custom Kish titanium ‘cross bike is everything he needs to take on the roads and tracks in the Los Angeles area. Titanium bikes make for great off-road vehicles. The material itself “eats up” a lot of the rough ride and it’ll be more dent-resistant from any wrecks that might happen. With a nice clean coat of blue paint on the frame, as well as the stem and seatpost, you almost get distracted from noting the Campagnolo Centaur gruppo, or the big fat tires this pup is rolling on.

After acquiring all the parts for the frame, Matt took this bike to Golden Saddle Cyclery for a pro build. I love clean, simple bikes like this and I can’t wait to see it dusty and dirty. Enjoy this beaut, Matt!

Revelate Designs: The Wampack Winter Hydration Pack

Revelate’s newest product isn’t a bikepacking bag, it’s a solution for winter riding hydration. The Wampack is a low-profile hydro pack, meant to be worn under your layers during the colder months, although I don’t see why you couldn’t wear it year round as a normal, minimal hydro pack. Like all of Revelate’s products, the Wampack is made with care in Alaska, where they know a thing or two about cold temperatures. It retails for $95, so keep an eye out at your local Revelate dealer, or head to the Revelate blog to read up more about the Wampack.

Hunter Cycles: New Caps and Shred Packs

You don’t have to buy a frame to support framebuilders. Rick from Hunter Cycles does a great job at making products that fit his particular style, both on and off the bike. He knows a simple, made in the USA cap goes a long way and those Porcelain Rocket-made “Shred Packs” are great for short dirt rides. His latest batch of the Shred Packs come in an array of colors and camo patterns. Both the caps and the packs are in stock now at Hunter Cycles.

Take Flight with Velocity’s Quill Road Rim

Road rim innovations come peacemeal for companies like Velocity. It’s a process of building technology up off of previous accomplishments. For their newest rim profile, they took their Aileron disc rim, combined it with their successful A23 road rim and developed the Quill. This rim is lighter, stiffer, and wider, coming in at 24.5mm external and 21.1mm internal widths. Available in various drillings, in black and polished finishes.

Mission Workshop: the Sector Merino Crew Neck

A few good merino crew necks are staples in anyone’s wardrobe. I’ve been wearing a sample of this shirt for about three years. It’s become a favorite shirt for riding, traveling and day to day wear.

The Sector is Mission Workshop’s 18.9 micron 190g/sm Australian Merino Wool crew neck and to give it an extra strong resilience, they spun nylon into the weave. Made in San Francisco and in stock now at Mission Workshop.
