Rapha’s To the Sun Capsule Collection

Releases like these always make me miss the warm and sunny rides we have here in Texas, almost year round. Even as the temperatures are freezing currently now. The To the Sun Collection is Rapha’s latest capsule. Including sun sleeves, which are a summer staple ’round these parts, a lightweight cap and a lightweight, race cut jersey.

See the entire To the Sun Collection at Rapha and more information from the press-release below. Also, what’s up Tao!?

SOLD OUT! Tracko and The Radavist Long Sleeve Blackened Splinter Camo Jersey

A while back, I gave Kyle from Tracko a Forestbound zippered pouch that was made from old M90 camouflage. Kyle and Bobby at Endo Customs made a pattern from that pouch, which was later used in the original Tracko vest.

Each year, Kyle sells a variation of his splinter camo, so this year, I asked if he’d want to do a collaboration. Pure and simple, this Blackened Splinter Camo jersey is just at home in the woods as it is on the road. Mix it with your favorite bibs, or the green Tracko splinter bibs…

Made in the USA by Endo Customs in Downtown LA, these jerseys are $135 plus shipping ($7 US and $15 international) and are in stock now. They will start to ship this week and will come with a replaceable zipper pull for those of you who don’t like the metal zipper.

Scoop one up below. Sorry, Sold out!

DeMarchi’s Heritage Cycling Jerseys

As interesting as retro-inspired jerseys are, there’s very little quality to the run-of-the-mill reproductions you’ll find online. Unless you’re looking at DeMarchi’s offerings. These 100% made in Italy jerseys are either full merino, or a merino blend. They won’t itch or pill like other repro jerseys and some even have a unique story behind them. Take, for example that Cinelli jersey… It’s an exact replica of Doug Dale’s own:

“Doug Dale, a well-known American racer in the 1960’s and ’70’s lent us his original cycling jersey for the replica, one that he obtained from the legendary Kopp’s Cycles in Princeton, New Jersey USA.”

Such craftsmanship and heritage isn’t cheap, but then again, at least you know where it’s made!
