“The Sidecar Bicycle is a stout three wheeler with a hardwood flatbed and a small 12″ wheel. Here at Horse, we use it for work and for play. It’s perfect for hauling packages around town, but after hours we throw a surfboard or two on her and cruise down to the beach. It has approximately a 100lb load capacity = 3 large dogs. Made entirely of super strong chromoly alloy steel, this bike was built strong and Horse tough.

The bicycle comes complete and ready to ride with 35mm tires, Brooks Saddle and Brooks Grips. The flatbed is made of hardwood oak, but is also available in reclaimed Coney Island Boardwalk salvaged from Hurricane Sandy.”

From those sick 29r frames, to dry bag backpacks, waxed hats, camping knives and even an ax with a sheath, the Horse Cycles collection is looking great. Congrats Thomas, you’ve got yourself quite the collection.

It’s hard sometimes to visualize a bike’s potential from just a frame photo, which is probably why Thomas built up one of those 29’r framesets as a complete for a photo shoot. Yikes! I didn’t expect to see this beauty when I was catching up on my Flickr browsing. Thomas at Horse Cycles just completed a run of production 29’r hardtails, complete with custom paint, done in house, right down to detailing the Rock Shox fork and ENVE stem. What do I think? Dirty thoughts… like a white horse fell into the mud dirty.
