Farewell Opens Memory Palace Top Loading Bag Pre-Orders
Santa Fe’s Farewell has opened up a pre-order for its popular Memory Palace handlebar or saddle flap top bag. This bag design was popularized by Carradice in the 1950s, but over the years, they’ve seen a modern resurgence. Farewell’s take keeps it true to the original silhouette while offering a cavernous interior, side pockets, and an array of playful colors. The pre-order is open now, with these 16-liter bags retailing for $240.

Josh’s Favorite Products of 2023
It’s been a wild year around these parts. In addition to the organizational changes we experienced with this website, I feel fortunate to have met and collaborated with many amazing people in addition to traveling to some truly remarkable places. My list of favorite products ended up being rather eclectic, but I think it reflects the wide range of material we get to cover here. Of course, music was an integral backdrop to my work – on rides, traveling abroad, and with my family at home – so I have joined some of our other contributors in offering a selection of favorite tunes, alongside a handful of products, below.

Made in Santa Fe: Farewell Bags for Cycling and More – Eric’s Salsa Timberjack
The Pandemic has left people with a lot of free time to pursue new hobbies. How many of your friends became sourdough bakers, xeriscapers, or home improvement gurus with all their newfound time at home? Eric Puckett is a long-time friend who always had sewing skills but once he was forced to work at home and couldn’t spend as much of his time outdoors, he began making bags for cycling, rock climbing, and more. Recently, he made this hobby into a side hustle called Farewell Bags. I caught up with Eric last week to shoot his new bags on his own Salsa Timberjack, so check out more below…
