Team Dream Rizzle Dizzle Men’s and Women’s Kits

As a consumer, I like to know the ways and means a company (especially in the cycling industry) came out. Regardless as to what my relationship is to Sean Talkington of Team Dream Bicycling Team, there was something about what he started doing last year that piqued my interest.

So, it’s a team, but it’s not a team. It’s a team for people who aren’t on teams, which makes it arguably one of the biggest teams in the world. That’s kind of like a dream team, right? Something like that.

When Sean began working on his Rizzle Dizzle kits, and his Mondrian Homage vest, we wanted to do a little something more than just post photos and send people over to his store. Below is a backstory, or a history as to what inspires Sean to continuously push Team Dream’s product line.

Team Dream and PiNP Kit Pre-Order

That’s a whole lotta’ photos!

Sean from Team Dream Bicycling Team and I have been scheming on this kit for some time now. Sure, it’s easy to take stripes and add some purple but how would it perform? Would the stripes make you faster? Would they throw-off your enemy’s range-tracking mechanisms? What about deer and bobcats? Would it scare them off the trails? The truth is, yes, the Team Dream and PiNP kit does all this and more. Oh and I gotta admit, they look fucking rad.

We went all out and produced one of the most comprehensive PiNP kits to date. I fucking love it! Sean loves it too, which prompted him to include a mystery “Surprise” PiNP long sleeve color option to the mix!

Team Dream Bicycling Team: Compression Bibs in Stock

Before 2013 comes to an end, Team Dream has restocked on a few pieces at their webshop, most notably, the Compression Bibs. These, for what it’s worth, are my favorite bibs I own. They’re a little tight the first time you wear them, but then they stretch out and fit like a glove. A glove around your junk.

Team Dream has XS, Medium and Large left in stock. So go swoop!

There is also a stock of Wind Vests, Home and Away jerseys too!

Superdomestik: Guns of Brixton Kits in Stock!

Kjeld is one of my friends in Los Angeles and as a native of the UK, he grew up listening to the Clash. Now he’s living in LA, way into bikes, is fast, fit and stoked on the community there. He just got some rad kits made by Endo under his label, Superdomestik, as an homage to “Guns of Brixton”.

In case you grew up under a rock and never heard of the Clash, this song had heavy reggae overtones, hence this kit. Scoop one up at Superdomestik!

You know what? I like stripes. A lot. I didn’t at first but then I wore one of these kits and I realized that they look damn nice. It doesn’t hurt that Sean’s also a rad dude. He’s worked with Endo customs on a set of compression bibs. They’re tight, won’t lose form, won’t fade and come in all black, including the logos. I have a pair and they rule.

TDBT has home jerseys, away jerseys and a wind vest up for pre-sale. See the full offering here. But hurry, the pre-order ends October 6th!

Team Dream Bicycle Team Caps by Pace

Team Dream Bicycle Team Caps by Pace

This last trip to LA, I got to hang out with Sean from Team Dream Bicycle Team extensively. On one of the last days, he handed me one of the new TDBT caps (I’m lying, I convinced him to let me take one for photo purposes). Aside from the red, white and blue being patriotic, I love the design of these caps. Or, if you fancy green more, they’ve got you covered.

Swoop one up at Team Dream Bicycle Team today! $20, made in the USA and worth every penny. Pace caps are the best and the four panel design fits so well.

Also, if you’re into the kit, Sean is running an extension on 2014 jersey the pre-order. The new ENDO compression bibs RULE!

New Kinfolk Kits

My friends at Kinfolk Studios in Brooklyn have just launched a pre-order of their new Endo Customs cycling kit. We all know that Endo’s kits are the best in the US, so there’s no debate over the quality. Put in your pre-order at Kinfolk!

Also, check out a short video the guys made below.

I’m Stoked on the Tennyson Collective Kits

Tennyson and 43rd are the cross streets at which you can find Pearl Velo, Berkeley Supply and Avery County Cycles, some of my favorite shops in the USA. They believe in riding, racing and having fun! After last year’s SSCX team kits, a lot of locals asked about ordering one.

The Tennyson Collective doesn’t necessarily embody the three shops, as much as it embraces the community and its vernacular. The trolley was designed by their friend Josh Shively after the original trolley that ran in the shop’s area until 1950.

Cool Mornings and the Endo Vest

Cool Mornings and the Endo Vest

It’s been in the 50’s every morning up in the mountains of Vermont where I’m staying even though last week it was in the upper 90’s. As I was packing for this trip, at the last minute, I grabbed my Endo Customs wind vest and tossed it into my duffle. This one in particular is the Tracko splinter camo design, which came out ridiculously rad.

The thing about vests is they keep your core warm, without overheating you like a jacket and they’ll pack away into a jersey pocket with ease. The Endo vests have three pockets, vented sides and a large zipper pull that’s easily found through full finger gloves. I’ve only used it a few times and I’ve got no complaints. It fits better than other gilets or vests I’ve used, especially when coupled with Endo kits.

Really, the only bummer is, you can’t buy it direct from Endo, you have to wait until someone sells a design as part of a kit. Winter is coming and I think I’ve got a pretty rad idea for my next kit run, so stay tuned!
