The new Knog Blinder Road is looking great. I can’t wait to try one out. 200 lumens in the front and 70 lumens in the rear, these lights will supply the rider with 100% visibility in any weather and they’re USB rechargeable.

Knog: The Road 2 Seeing Light
At this point, no light should need replacement batteries, especially when USB charging is so easy. I’ve gone through dozens of lights and I keep coming back to Knog‘s Blinder series. This isn’t meant to be a review, just a “stoked” meter reading for the new Knog “seeing” lights. Last week at Frostbike, Knog unveiled the Road 2. I can’t wait to see more.

Happy Holidays from PDW
Portland Design Works gets all cutesy-sappy this year with their holiday video. I half expected Murph to make an appearance but I guess I’ll have to ask Santa for that next year.
I’m surprised they let you cut down trees in Portland?!

Blink / Steady Lights
At this point, I get at least a dozen emails a week from people regarding Kickstarter projects. I usually sift through the ones I like and this week’s pick are the Blink / Steady Lights. I can get behind all of this. If and when they develop a USB-chargeable version, I’ll support it even more. Regardless, these look great and are made in Brooklyn, NY but are not cheap. Check out more here.
