Ronnie from 407 Fixed Gear upped his latest Fixtape. We need to get something going like this in Austin. Quick and dirty.

This was my first audio interview. Most people send me questions to answer in an email and they’re usually pretty typical. When I was in Philly last week, Jesse and Ronnie from Out of Print Magazine said they wanted to interview me. I was extremely greatful and agreed to meet Jesse in NYC last weekend. He tells the story best:

When you meet someone for an interview and the first thing they do is they buy a beer and tell you to, “hold on one second while I take a piss in this alley,” some people might be put off by that. Those actions just solidified in my mind that this was going to be a good time. I met John in Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon during the Bike Fetish Day celebrations where we found a nice stoop for our Q & A session. If you follow his blog (Prollyisnotprobably.com), you know it gives you a sense that he is a very humble and down to Earth kind of guy. Well, that is exactly what I found to be the truth. It was a lot of fun to sit down and talk with him about fixed freestyle, architecture, and toys, but for as much fun as it was, he always kept an air of seriousness about it.

On 4.20, you don’t always need weed to get high right?

High bunny hops on 700c wheels are the new pegs, 26″ wheels and grinds. After getting a little stir-crazy here in NYC, I decided to mix it up a bit and drive to Philly to spend the day with Tom and Cahill. Tom has been hopping shit like a mad man recently. The day before his OOPM interview, he and I chatted for a while about the current state of fixed freestyle. It damn well inspired me enough to drive down and catch him on this euphoric wave he’s experiencing.

Tom went out for a ride last night with Ronnie from Out of Print Mag and in the middle of their session, a nasty dust storm rolled in, kicking up sand and debris. Even with all of the shit flying around, Ronnie was able to snap a few photos. Check the rest out here.

Ronnie from Out of Print Mag in Philly sent me over this sequence of Super Ted doing a pedal grind to 180 at the Water St. Sessions spot. Crazy sequence! Seems like Ted had an awesome trip in ‘Merica. Safe travels home man!
