White bikes beckon to be dirtied and abused. The latest over at the Firefly Tumblr will be sure to bring about a hellish good time. Love this one fellas!

Firefly has a saying: “every bike is a show bike” and with projects like this, it’s easy to see why. Now, I’m not sure what this symbol is referencing, although it appears to be ouroboros-inspired but seeing something personal like this, executed on a beautiful titanium frame is enough to make anyone want to flip through more shots of this bike. Luckily you can do so at the Firefly Flickr.

This build took a bit for me to warm up to it, but there’s something about it that would heat up even the coldest base miles. The bar tape, saddle, fork, headset and hubs are all a different tone of green and yet it works.

Black and orange is the new black, during the fall anyway. Tis the season for everyone to get their base miles on and what better motivation to bundle up in the cold than a new road bike. Much less, a new Firefly. I love the way large framesets look by themselves and this one’s got a massive head tube.

It’s getting cold out yonder and that means one thing: time to drink warm liquids – even more. It’s not everyday you see a Firefly track bike. Much less one with a Winter stem, Curtis Odom hubs, Phil Wood cranks and that paint job. You’ve gotta head over to the Firefly Flickr for more!

I know the whole point of the Firefly Bones project is to offer a unique *steel* frame, made in Boston and hand illustrated by Eric Bones, but I can’t help but think these are the best looking collaboration bikes to come from a frame builder and I’d love to see them go into full-scale, mass production.

Each of these builds have unique details as well. What caught my eye here was that titanium stem and the proportions of those Dura Ace cranks. This bike looks mean.

Let’s see, Barzo 2.25 tires, Lefty, Ti stem to match the sweet Ti frame, segmented stays, Industry Nine. Yep. This is probably one of my favorite Firefly MTBs to date. I can’t stop looking at it!

I can’t get over how metal these Bones Project bikes are shaping up. Each one is hand-painted by Eric Bones. Here’s number 04 and you can see more at Firefly’s Flickr.

People have all kinds of ways for showing their admiration of Columbus’ tubesets. Of course, you could always just put a decal on one of your bikes, noting the tube but that’s not the case with the latest from Firefly…

It’s not everyday you see a Firefly completely painted, especially in a bright cobalt blue. This one’s special and you should really check out all the details at the Firefly Flickr!

From here on out, any bike that goes off-road and could potentially find itself in the wilderness for an extended period of time with have a third bottle cage. They’re life savers.
