Cannondale Topstone: LAB71 Frame and New Colors for Completes
The Cannondale Topstone epitomizes the brand’s ability to color outside the lines and we dig that. John reviewed its original aluminum version as well as two carbon builds a few years back and now Cannondale announced a new LAB71 frame that pushes the envelope for the model even more.
The LAB71 Topstone is only offered as a frameset ($4,500 for XS-XL), and features Cannondale’s Series 0 Carbon construction for the model’s lightest-ever weight, shedding 160g while retaining its toughness, versatility and performance. The Topstone‘s Kingpin integrated rear suspension (30mm) remains in the LAB71 frameset to provide a silky smooth ride and unmatched traction when the surface loosens up. A SAVE Carbon Seatpost keeps the weight light and the comfort high. Furthermore, the LAB71 Topstone frame retains a variety of frame mounts — top tube, seat tube, down tube (over and under), and both blades of the fork — for endless configurations for storage.
If a $4,500 frame ain’t your thing, the new colors of the Topstone complete builds are pretty dang nice too, and begin at $2825 for a complete. See the full lineup at Cannondale.

SOCOTRA – Bikepacking the Lost Island
The latest expedition of Montanus duo transports us in one of the most isolated and little-known continental fragments on Earth. Socotra island lies in Indian Ocean between the Horn of Africa and Arabian Peninsula and it is home for surreal endemic flora and fauna. ‘Socotra’ is a short film that follows them in the exploration of this remote and alien-looking land.
Arc’teryx | ReGEAR Trade-In
This is a big move by a big company and we dig it!
“The linear economy is totally bullshit” “We know we are a part of the problem.”
Kudos, Arc’teryx.
