It’s never too late in the day for a Merckx Mondays post. If you can’t tell, I’ve been having some issues with the site today so maybe this will make it to the front page before midnight CST. At any rate, I have featured a number of 7-Eleven team Eddy Merckx bicycles over the years on the blog (including mine) and when I was in SF, I ran into two 7-Elevens.
Check out more from a late, late Merckx Mondays below!
I ran into this dude outside Mission Workshop on the last day of my trip.
He had just built up his Merckx with a mix of components and was stoked to be riding it in the beautiful weather that graced the Bay Area while I was in town.
Not bad huh?
In other, bummer status news. Sasha from Citizen Chain Cyclery’s 7-Eleven was involved in a bit of a fender bender. A car hit him while he was riding it, destroying the bars and somehow leaving the frame and front wheel in good condition. Somewhere the Cannibal shed a tear. I’m just glad Sasha was ok!
I know I’ve been slacking on the Merckx Mondays content over the past few weeks but I’ve got more coming in next week so stay tuned!
